🍀🍀 Callie’s Journey 🍀🍀

Callie was just a kitten herself, even though she had already birthed kittens, when I was asked to trap and remove her from a garage in Denver Colorado in June 2025. The owner had just bought the home and the garage came with tons of feral cats that the owner wanted removed. Metro cat had trapped most of the cats but Callie was destined to be trapped by Street Tails. Metro Cat went out of business and Callie was the last kitten left. ( maybe 6 months old).

There was something about her Golden eyes ( and the fact the owner didn’t want her back in her garage). That made me keep her after she was deemed feral by DDFL. She also refused to leave the Carrier ( as seen below) when I tried to release her.

🍀 Turns out, In Irish folklore, calico cats are considered LUCKY. These tricolor cats are generally revered for bringing good fortune, charm, and prosperity to the homes that adopt them.

Similar to other cultures, Irish folklore often views these rare-colored cats (white, orange, and black) as bringers of fortune.

🍀🍀 Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day and bring good fortune to your home ☘️ 🍀. by adopting a Calico cat like Callie.

You can also just just do a shot of Jameson and donate to Street Tails
